How to Set Up Your Business Profile (Before A2P Setup)

Step 1: Go to Business Profile

• Click on Settings in your account.

• Select Business Profile from the menu.

Step 2: Upload Your Business Logo

• Click to upload your logo.

• Make sure it follows the recommended size and dimensions shown on screen.

Step 3: Enter Your Business Information

• Legal Business Name: This must match your official documents (like your EIN or tax forms).

• Friendly Business Name: This can be your public-facing name (e.g., “Sarah’s Notary Services”).

• Business Email: Use your official business email (e.g., info@yourbusiness.com).

• Business Phone Number: This number may be shown publicly, so make sure it’s correct.

Step 4: Add Your Website

• If you bought your own domain, enter it here (e.g., www.mynotaryservice.com).

• If not, use the default provided (like yourname.notary.com).

• This is important — your privacy policy and site info will use this!

Step 5: Enter Business Address

• This must match the address on your EIN or business registration.

• Enter your:

  • Country

  • State

  • Street Address

  • City

  • ZIP Code

Step 6: Time Zone & Language

• Choose your correct time zone and preferred platform language.

• Click Update to save your info.

Step 7: Add Authorized Representative Info
This is the person responsible for the business (usually you).

• Full Name

• Email Address

• Phone Number

• Job Title (e.g., Owner, Director)

Hit Update Information when done.

Step 8: Fill Out Tax & Business Type Info

• Choose your Business Type:

  • LLC / Sole Proprietor / Corporation (pick what applies)

• Choose your Industry: Most notaries select Legal.

• Pick your Business ID Type:

  • If you have an EIN, choose USAEIN and enter it.

  • If using an SSN, choose Other and type “Social Security Number,” then enter it.

• Select USA and Canada as your region of operations.

• Click Update to save.

Step 9: Update Email Settings (Optional but Recommended)

• On the right-hand panel, turn ON:

  • Merge contacts

  • Bot detection

  • Email verification

• These help keep your system clean and working well.

Step 10: Missed Call Text Back

• Scroll down to the Missed Call Text Back section.

• Turn it ON.

• Click Save Missed Call Text Settings.

Final Step: Check “My Profile”

• Click on My Profile.

• Upload a profile image.

• Confirm your:

  • Name

  • Email

  • Phone number

  • Calendar settings (choose the one you use)

Once you complete all these steps, you’re ready to move on to setting up SMS features and customizing your website.
